Graduate Medical Education
Graduate Medical Education is one of the most critical functions of the Medical Education Department. This division is responsible for overseeing and managing residency and fellowship postgraduate training programs across Sidra Medicine and setting the governance structure for residency and fellowship programs. It also ensures training programs align with international medical education training standards and patient care is delivered to the highest quality and standards.
Sidra Medicine hosts the Pediatric Residency program and over thirty specialized Fellowship programs across various disciplines. We provide a wide range of pediatric subspecialty training programs that promise future medical graduates a unique clinical experience combined with technology and medical modalities in advanced facilities. Sidra Medicine also offers opportunities to engage in research projects when joining our residency and fellowship training programs.
Sidra Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education - International (ACGMEI) as a sponsoring institution for GME programs. ACGMEI accredits our Pediatric Residency program and several Fellowship programs.
