JCI Gold Seal of Approval

Sidra Medicine is a Joint Commission International (JCI), Gold Seal of Approval® accredited hospital and academic medical center.

JCI maintains partnerships with the World Alliance for Health, the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua), Institute for Health Care Improvement (IHI) Improvement, and many other international partners. Accreditation with JCI provides our patients and their families with the assurance and confidence of outstanding and safe patient care.

With the reputation of Joint Commission International for being the benchmark, third-party, independent assessment organization, Sidra Medicine has invested in this framework to improve and enhance sustainable quality and safety for its patients and families in Qatar and around the world.

Local Partnerships

International Partnerships

Qatar is investing thoughtfully with the aim of providing the highest quality healthcare in the world. The state-of-the-art facility will not only provide world-class patient care, but will also help to build Qatar’s scientific expertise and resources.

Based in Education City and as an entity of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development – Sidra Medicine is part of a dynamic research and education environment. Education City includes leading international institutions such as Georgetown University, Carnegie Mellon University and HEC Paris as well as recently established national research centers like Qatar Biomedical Research Institute and Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute.

Sidra Medicine will work closely with its academic partner Weill-Cornell Medicine in Qatar (WCM-Q) as well as other health and research institutions like Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Qatar Biobank in regard to all three missions – raising the standard of healthcare throughout the country and providing valuable opportunities for research and learning.
