Olanrewaju Sanusi

Chief Financial Officer

Olanrewaju (‘Lanre) Sanusi has over 30 years of experience in international healthcare and institutional financial leadership. Mrs. Sanusi joined Sidra Medicine as a finance consultant and was later appointed Chief Financial Officer in July 2023.

Olanrewaju brings extensive financial leadership experience and will help guide Sidra Medicine toward financial sustainability and improved governance. 

Olanrewaju has a Management MBA from the Imperial College of Science & Technology, University of London, United Kingdom, and a BSc in Accounting from the University of Lagos - Nigeria. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

Before joining Sidra Medicine, Olanrewaju was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Finance and Corporate Services of Eat and Go Limited, where she was a Member of the Board of Directors in Nigeria and Kenya.

As a Group Chief Financial Officer, Executive Director, and member of the Board of Directors of Hygeia Nigeria Limited and Hygeia HMO Limited, a West African integrated healthcare provider, Olanrewaju administered day-to-day finance, budgeting, and forecasting operations. She also served as a central part of executive leadership to drive the strategic direction of the business and directed all fundraising matters to ensure growth. She was a principal finance resource to the Board and the Group's CEOs, cultivating and building investor relationships.
