Wouter Van den Brande

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Wouter Van den Brande is the Chief Operating Officer at Sidra Medicine, a specialist women’s and children’s hospital in the State of Qatar.

As COO, Wouter's responsibilities will include overseeing and expanding Sidra Medicine’s business and clinical operations including corporate services, procurement, supply chain, facilities, and information technology.

He is an accomplished C-suite executive with over 15 years of expertise in operations, quality, and business growth in the health and wellness sector.

Prior to joining Sidra Medicine, Wouter was the Chief Strategy and Development Officer for Nuffield Health, the United Kingdom's largest health charity network, which comprises 37 hospitals, 114 fitness and wellbeing centres, medical centres, and workplace wellness facilities.

Wouter has an MBA in Strategic Innovation in Healthcare from CASS Business School and completed his Bachelor of Science in Medical Science (OB/Gyn) from Imperial College, U.K.
