The purpose of the RICH database is to build a unified multi-center data repository for hypospadias cases. This will help explore short and long-term outcomes and will be regularly updated to answer newly emerging clinical questions. The database could potentially facilitate high-level evidence needed in hypospadias surgery, collaborative research among pediatric urologists and dynamically integrate new variables to answer emerging questions with secured data access policies.

Purpose

To build a unified multi-centre data repository for hypospadias cases that helps to explore short and long-term outcomes and is dynamically updated to answer newly emerging clinical questions

Benefits

  • Evaluating long-term clinical outcomes of patients with hypospadias
  • Standardized multicentre computer-based database
  • Joint Authorship of resulting manuscripts
  • High-level evidence needed in hypospadias surgery
  • Facilitate collaborative research among pediatric urologists
  • Dynamically integrate new variables to answer newly emerging questions
  • Secured Data Access Policy
