Pediatrics 2022: Through the eyes of physicians and parents

Welcome to Pediatrics 2022 - Sidra Medicine’s flagship conference dedicated to collaboratively advancing child health. Based on the theme “Through the eyes of physicians and parents” our joint efforts will impact how we can take action to advance the healthcare agenda for children.

Pediatrics 2022 is an international conference and will be held as a hybrid model in Doha, Qatar from 9-12 March 2022. It will bring together pediatricians, specialists, child health professionals as well as community and health advocates from across the globe, who are committed to addressing pediatric health challenges and providing best practice solutions.

In addition to developing thought leadership and networking opportunities, Pediatrics 2022 will also address the educational needs of frontline child healthcare professionals; featuring three and half days of accredited learning forums, practical-learning sessions, lectures and workshops through both in-person and online platforms.

What also makes our conference unique is the important inclusion of parents in our engagement and discussion process as we firmly believe in their role as change makers in advancing healthcare. Our parent session will cover critical topics such as positive parenting; dealing with a child with autism; food allergies; asthma treatment; breastfeeding; healthy lifestyle choices and helping parents make better media choices and more.

Together, let us create a safe future for our children’s health.

Whether you are a healthcare professional, a parent, a policy maker – we all have an important role to play in providing children the opportunities to ensure a healthy future and for them to fulfill their potential.

Sidra Medicine plays a pivotal role in tertiary child healthcare in Qatar. Our expertise and services in the care and treatment of children with complex diseases can be rated as some of the best in the world and comparable to other world-leading children’s hospitals. And we believe there is a lot we can share and learn collaboratively from other experts and institutes locally and globally at Pediatrics 2022 that will have a positive impact on child health.

We look forward to engaging with peers, thought leaders, innovators and advocates across the child health spectrum in our collective commitment to advancing child health – for the children of today and tomorrow.
