Sidra Medicine welcomed H.E Mr. Akbar Al Baker, the Secretary-General of Qatar National Tourism Council and Group CEO of Qatar Airways and Mr. Badr Al-Meer, Chief Operating Officer, Hamad International Airport to its facility. They were taken on a tour of several wards including the women’s postpartum unit; pediatric and neonatal intensive care units; and the hospital’s world-class Heart Center and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
The Sidra Medicine delegation was led by Mr. Mohammed Al Mana, Managing Director and Member of the Board of Governors at Sidra Medicine; Prof. Ziyad M. Hijazi, Acting Chief Medical Officer and Executive Chair of Pediatric Medicine and Mr. Hamza Al Kuwari, Chief of Administrative Services. Both parties discussed promoting medical tourism in Qatar and Sidra Medicine’s role in attracting international patients.
