29 December 2019, Doha, Qatar- Sidra Medicine will be hosting the 4th Qatar Pediatric Emergency Medicine Conference (QPEM) 2020, from 10 - 12 January at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Doha, Qatar.
QPEM aims to provide a high-quality, evidence-based update for healthcare practitioners involved in the emergency and urgent care of children. The event will be hosted by the Department of Emergency Medicine at Sidra Medicine and Hamad Medical Corporation.
The conference is expected to welcome over 600 healthcare professionals from across the globe including physicians, nurses, paramedics and emergency medical technicians, allied health practitioners and pharmacists. It is targeted towards professionals working in pediatric emergency medicine and other specialties involved in the emergency and urgent care for children.

Key topics to be covered at QPEM 2020 are resuscitation care, trauma management and evidence for best practice. Quality and patient safety, sepsis care, toxicology, neonatal emergencies as well as fluid management in pediatrics will also be on the agenda. Delegates can also attend separate sessions related to the latest research studies and patient experience within an emergency department setting.
