Sidra Medicine has announced the appointment of Abdulrazaq Al Kuwari as Chief of Corporate Services.
Mr. Al Kuwari is responsible for overseeing a range of corporate service functions at Sidra Medicine including corporate communications, governance, legal and ethics and compliance as well as the overall organizational strategy. A key part of his remit will be to ensure that all of the organizational policies, procedures and outcomes are integrated for Sidra Medicine to provide the highest quality and safety of patient care, physician relations and employee satisfaction.
Mr. Al Kuwari also has oversight of business development at Sidra Medicine where he leads efforts to enhance and diversify revenue. This includes the management of the organization’s commercialization programs, and technology transfer services – which handles patent applications and innovation start-up projects to come out of Sidra Medicine and have the potential to be commercialized.
Commenting on the appointment, Chief Executive Officer, Peter Morris said, “Abdulrazaq is a very experienced senior leader at Sidra Medicine. He has been with Sidra Medicine for over ten years. I am confident that Abdulrazaq’s leadership and direction will serve corporate services extremely well and that he will play a very significant part in helping Sidra Medicine to deliver world class services that align with Sidra Medicine’s strategy and the Qatar National Vision 2030.”
Prior to his appointment as Chief of Corporate Services, Mr. Al Kuwari has also played an important role in Operations as the Acting Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Chief Operating Officer at Sidra Medicine.

Mr. Al Kuwari has a diverse background in finance, executive management and economics in both the private and government sectors.
Mr. Al Kuwari received his dual undergraduate degrees in finance and business management, with minors in economics and government from Eastern Washington University. He holds an MBA from the University of Miami with a specialization in health sector management and policy.
