About the Physician

Dr Varsha Mulik is a Senior Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist with 25 years of experience and working as Senior attending Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sidra Medicine since 2017, she was interim lead for Quality, patient safety till Feb 2022. Currently she is chairman of adult guidelines committee and involved in patient safety, JCI.

Her vast obstetric experience includes but not limited to management of women with pregnancy complications, multiple pregnancies, previous pregnancy losses, poor pregnancy outcome. Dr. Varsha has extensive gynecological expertise includes management of abnormal uterine bleeding, menopause, adolescent gynecology as well as vulval disorders. Her surgical expertise includes management of pregnancy with placental dysfunction, operative vaginal deliveries as well as surgeries for benign gynecological conditions like fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic prolapse, pelvic pain.

Prior to joining Sidra She was senior consultant at busy tertiary care obstetric units in Singapore ( K K women’s and children Hospital with annual deliveries of 15,000) as well as Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist in the UK for 10 years  leading care of women with high risk pregnancy with medical problems, multiple pregnancy as well as common gynecological problems.  She has training in maternal fetal medicine in UK as well as advanced Ultrasound diploma and maternal medicine certification.
