    Dr Sumeja Zahirovic is a consultant adult rheumatologist. She obtained her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar. She completed her training in internal medicine at Englewood Hospital in New Jersey, USA and her Rheumatology Fellowship training at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia, USA.  Her research focuses on rheumatoid arthritis, exercise, and motivational interviewing.

    She is currently employed as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar. She regularly delivers Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education workshops on competency, assessment, and feedback in medical education.
