About the Physician

Dr. Sudhakar Rao Adusumilli has joined Emergency Medicine Department in 2018 as Senior Attending Physician and Quality Lead. After Joining Sidra Medicine in 2018, Dr Adusumilli lead and developed Sidra ED Quality Program in collaboration with ED and Hospital colleagues. Later in 2018 he was appointed as Division Chief of Emergency Department. In that role he supported safe opening of Emergency Department in 2018 and later opening of Pediatric Major Trauma Center in 2019. Dr Adusumilli has been a member of Sidra Credentialing Committee for the last 3 years. Previously he was a member of PPG committee and currently he is co leading a JCI chapter

Prior to joining Sidra Medicine, Dr Adusumilli worked as a Consultant Pediatrician for over 10 years at the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust in UK. In 2013 Dr Adusumilli was appointed as Chair (Clinical Director) of a large department for Children and Women covering 3 acute hospitals. As a Chair he led a team of 700 staff in Pediatrics, Neonatology and Maternity services at 3 acute hospital sites. He continued in that role till he joined Sidra Medicine in 2018. Prior to that he served as Head of Service for Neonates and as Lead Doctor for safeguarding children
