About the Physician
Dr. Naveed Durrani has been a Hospital Neonatologist at Sidra Medicine since 2019. Before this, he received his training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at McMaster University, Canada. As a Neonatologist, he cares for sick newborns with surgical and medical needs at Sidra Medicine. Dr. Durrani treats and manage all types of illnesses in newborn and helps parents during their difficult time in the NICU.
Dr Durrani’s clinical research focuses on neonatal sepsis and quality improvement projects. He has completed multiple quality improvement projects while at Sidra Medicine, including opioid stewardship, oxygen saturation targets to reduce retinopathy of prematurity, and timeliness discharge from NICU.
Dr. Durrani also loves to teach fellows, residents, and nurses at any time in the NICU to carry on the knowledge to the next generation of physicians and nurses.
