About the Physician
Dr. Abdulwahed is a Pediatric Infectious Disease Attending and a faculty member at Sidra Medicine in Doha, Qatar. He has been working as an attending physician since July 2023. He also serves as Pediatric Infectious Disease Fellowship Associate Program Director and Assistant Program Director for Pediatric Residency.
He is involved in several committees on infection prevention and control, renal transplant, and antimicrobial stewardship. He completed his Pediatric Residency at Sidra Medicine in 2018. Then, he pursued a pediatric infectious disease fellowship at BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, Canada, from 2020 to 2023. He is experienced in managing children with acute and chronic infections and has a special interest in managing infections in immunocompromised populations.Languages Spoken English, Arabic
