Emergency Medicine

Emergency Medicine services at Sidra Medicine includes:

We treat children and young people from the ages of 0 to 18. We are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Children and young people coming in to our pediatric emergency department, are assessed (triaged) by a highly qualified and trained team of clinical staff according to the Emergency Severity Index (ESI)© triage system. This provides clinically relevant classification of patients into five groups from 1 (most urgent) to 5 (least urgent). Determining the severity of the patient's condition, as this allows further assessment and treatment to be prioritized as per each patient’s condition and clinical needs.

Our service model is categorized as Sole Provider and Preferred. You can find details about the classification of our services here.
