Mr. Nazmy Hamad
Director of International Medical Affairs
Mr. Nazmy Hamad is the Director of International Medical Affairs at Sidra Medicine, a women’s and children’s hospital in the State of Qatar, where he oversees the hospital’s international patient services program.
The international patient services program at Sidra Medicine supports patients from abroad who are seeking medical treatment in specialty pediatric or women’s services. Over the past few years, the hospital has welcome patients from Kuwait, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Kenya, Morocco, Uganda, Jordan, United Kingdom, in areas such as pediatric cardiology; neurology; general pediatrics; urology; endocrinology; ENT, short bowel surgery; plastics and craniofacial surgery and more.
Prior to joining Sidra Medicine, Mr. Hamad was the Director of International Medical Business Development at Rush University Medical Center – Chicago. He has held several positions throughout his career: Medical Technologist, Microbiologist, Quality Assurance Manager, and Biological Science Research Support Specialist at Chicago State University.
Mr. Hamad graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology and completed his master’s degree from the University of Cumbria in the UK, specializing in International Healthcare Management.
