Sidra Medicine and Afif Charity have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) whereby the charity will provide financial assistance to cover the cost of treatment, medications and medical supplies for pediatric patients in need.
The MOU was signed on 27 May 2021 between Dr. Barbro Fridén, Chief Executive Officer of Sidra Medicine and Ms. Zalikha Al-Asmakh, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Afif Charity.
In addition to covering the treatment and costs of medicines and medical supplies for pediatric patients, Afif Charity will also provide community support to sick children who are being treated at Sidra Medicine.
Dr. Barbro Fridén, Chief Executive Officer, Sidra Medicine said: “We are pleased with our partnership with Afif Charity. We look forward to working with Afif Charity as their support will go a long way towards providing vital financial assistance to many families in need.”
