Travel Grants Available for LMIC Students, Post-docs, and Early-Career Researchers

We are offering travel grants to students, post-docs, and early-career researchers from LMIC countries. To apply, you must first register and submit an abstract. Only applicants who complete both steps and meet the outlined criteria will be considered for the grant.

Application Requirements:

1. Abstract Submission: After registering, submit your abstract via [this link](https://www.sidra.org/events/research/pmfg/2024/pmfg-2024-abstract-submission/). Only those who adhere to the guidelines will be evaluated.
2. Attendance Commitment: Grant recipients must attend the HGM meeting of the respective year and agree to allow PMFG SUMMIT to use the information for publicity purposes.
3. Document Submission: To confirm eligibility, applicants must submit a copy of the first page of their passport to verify LMIC citizenship. Personal information will be used solely for verification.

Grant Support Details:

1. Support Method: The grant covers direct booking of flights and accommodation by the organizers.
2. Selection Criteria: Priority is given based on the abstract evaluation score, with emphasis on candidates from LMICs and those in the early stages of their careers (preferably within 5 years).
3. Repeat Eligibility: Recipients of the travel grant in a given fiscal year are ineligible for the same support for the following three years.

Please note, submitting an application does not guarantee a travel grant. Selection is competitive and based on merit.
