The Women’s services, in alignment with the vision of Sidra Medicine as a strategic pillar in the dissemination of evidence-based healthcare education is organizing a study day dedicated to the innovative trends in women’s health, covering key domains such as education, clinical treatments, technology advancements and healthcare delivery systems. A lot has changed in women’s health, partly driven by the accelerated developments in the technology space including Artificial intelligence with yet to be fully maximized opportunities. Hence, the study day will highlight some of the contemporary issues ranging from prevention to diagnostics and therapeutics.  The study day promises to be engaging with a faculty of seasoned experts and healthcare leaders who will provide insightful, and evidence backed presentations on the different sub-themes.

Study Day Learning Objectives

At the end of the Study Day on Innovations in women’s health, delegates should be able to:

  • Identify current innovations in women's health across key domains including medical treatments, technology, and healthcare delivery systems.
  • Describe the impact of existing innovations on improving women's health outcomes and quality of life.
  • Discuss some of the emerging innovations in women's health, including preventive, personalized medicine, and digital health solutions.
  • Describe the role of interdisciplinary collaborations and partnerships in driving innovation in women's health.

  • Personalized health care delivery in women’s health.
  • Digital healthcare applications and examination kits.
  • Trends in Femtech use and applications.
  • Generative AI in teaching and learning.
  • Remote fetal monitoring.
  • Technology aided management of clinical problems.

The study day on Innovations in women’s health has been put together to meet the learning and knowledge needs of healthcare providers who are involved in the care of women from primary care to tertiary level including but not limited to the following groups:

Application is in progress for CPD accreditation for the study day  as an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Category 1) under the   Department of Healthcare Professions-Accreditation section (DHP-AS), Qatar.

Registration information:

The study day on innovations in women’s health will be a hybrid event with onsite delegates in the beautiful Sidra Medicine auditorium and online delegates via the Teams platform. Limited spaces are available for onsite registration, so early booking is strongly advised. Onsite registration includes access to the auditorium and the healing gardens during scheduled breaks.
