        Sidra Medicine is proud to announce its Inaugural Pharmacy Conference. The event will focus on essential topics for Pharmacy Technicians in Qatar such as automated dispensing, aseptic techniques, unit dosing, medication management processes and more. The aim is to educate colleagues in Qatar and share awareness of the role and development opportunities for Pharmacy Technicians.

        This activity is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Category 1) as defined by the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners -Accreditation Department and is approved for a maximum of 7.00 hour/s. This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive 7.00 hours Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) for learning and change.

          International Workshop in Reconstructive Pediatric Urology


          A Preconference Workshop of the 6th World Congress of the World Federations of Pediatric Surgery

           

          The Sidra Medicine Division of Pediatric Urology and Chairman Dr. Pippi Salle is proud to host this International Workshop and provide colleagues the opportunity of exchange and discussion on the most important topics of our Subspeciality.

          Date October 30-31, 2019

          Venue Sidra Medicine Main Auditorium

          The Event will include International Speakers, interactive sessions and live surgery workshops.

          There will be two full days of live surgery and interactive discussion between the Operating Room and the Auditorium. International guests will be sharing their expertise with the audience while performing surgeries along with a discussion of challenging cases.

          Following the Workshop, the 6th World Congress of Pediatric Surgery (WOFAPS) will be held from Nov 1 -3, 2019 with full day urology sessions every day of the congress. These dedicated Surgery Sessions will provide three full days of discussion through the most relevant topics and the hottest debates of our specialty.

            Clinical Updates in Obstetrics and Gynecology (CUOG) 2018


            The practice of Obsetrics and Gynaecology continues to change in response to advances in technology and the unveiling of new evidence in high impact publications. These advances are varied, often subtle and can be challenging for the day-to-day Practitioners in the speciality to keep pace with the rapid changes. This Clinical update has been commissioned to address the topical issues in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.                 QPEM 2019 Mid-Year Symposium on Pediatric Pain


                The first in a series of QPEM mid-year symposiums that will provide high quality, evidence based updates on narrowly focused topics relevant to Pediatric Emergency Medicine.

                Location: Sidra Medicine Hospital 

                Our multidisciplinary participants will have expanded knowledge and competence on the assessment and management of pediatric pain, and will be able to recognize and manage common and un-common presentations where pain may result from investigations and treatment.

                Participants will have improved critical thinking around how to think about and address pain and anxiety in our everyday clinical practice settings, and will also have a better understanding and comfort with a variety of the pharmacologic and non pharmacologic interventions available for our pediatric patients.
