Medical education is critical to ensure health care advancements for patients and professionals. It is also one of the three pillars that form the foundation of Sidra Medicine’s mission to provide patient care and biomedical research. Our medical education programs apply to doctors as well as undergraduate and graduate medical training. We promote an interprofessional training model for all healthcare professionals.
Sidra Medicine is a Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) accredited center and offers Continuous Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to all licensed healthcare professionals and senior medical staff. We have further joint accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), a prestigious accreditation body in the U.S., designed for doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals.
The Medical Education Office at Sidra Medicine, in cooperation with Hamad Medical Corporation is pleased to announce the opening of new fellowship posts for the academic year 2020/2021.
The Fellowship program at Sidra Medicine is intended to provide post-residency fellows with an opportunity for direct clinical service, regular professional supervision and mentorship.
The fellowship is for candidates who are certified by the Arab Board of Medical Specializations in Pediatrics or equivalent.

Our education facilities includes a variety of lecture halls, classrooms and state-of-the-art simulation rooms equipped with the latest technologies, including video conferencing and live streaming to other conference rooms in the hospital or lecturers and specialists around the world. Live translation is also supported with bilingual display in English and Arabic.
Sidra Medicine also offers residency and fellowship programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education - International (ACGMEI), a body directly aligned with ACGME, the international best practice standard that accredits the majority of graduate medical training programs for doctors in the United States.
