Dr. Sami Omer obtained his medical degree from the University of Khartoum in Sudan in 1996. He obtained a Master’s degree in International Health from Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany in 2002. Dr. Omer completed his Psychiatry training in the Republic of Ireland. In 2006 he became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK and received a certificate of completion of specialist training in General Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry from the College of Psychiatrists of Ireland in 2011.

Since 2011 Dr. Omer has worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in General Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry in various countries including Ireland, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the UK, and Canada.
