Dr. Singh received specialist Anesthesia training in the UK and undergraduate and postgraduate training in India. He did a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia and pediatric critical care at Manchester Children’s Hospital. After completing his training (CCT), he was appointed consultant Pediatric Anesthetist in Newcastle, Leeds, and Swansea. He was the clinical lead for pediatric anesthesia, helped set up the pediatric acute pain service, and was the pediatric acute pain lead in the UK.

He is an Affiliate Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine, Associate Fellow of the Royal College of Anesthetists, UK, and Fellow of the College of Anesthetists, Ireland. He is interested in total intravenous and regional anesthesia, with experience in teaching, quality improvement, and service development.

He has experience in Research and Audit and was the local investigator for the APRICOT study, a pan-European prospective observational multicenter cohort study.
