Dr. Agbetunsin was a Consultant at the University Hospital of Leicester. She completed the advanced training modules in Advanced Labour ward practice and Labour ward Lead. She was the Labour ward Lead till her appointment at Sidra leading departmental risk management and clinical governance. She has special interest in intrapartum care, maternal mental health, high risk obstetrics, medical education and quality improvement. She initiated a maternal mental health clinic which improved the service provision for women in Leicester. She was a member of the hospital mental health board.
