Dr. Jauro Kuna Gaji joined Sidra Medicine in September 2017 as a Senior Attending Physician in Neonatology.
He cares for babies with complex problems ranging from extreme prematurity, surgical problems, and congenital anomalies as part of a multidisciplinary Team.
He also follows up with babies and infants at high risk of developmental problems in the Outpatient Clinic (High-Risk Infant Follow-up Clinic) as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Dr. Kuna Gaji is a keen teacher and co-chair of the Neonatal Fellowship Program Evaluation Committee. He is a certified STABLE course instructor and teaches in the STABLE course, including the Cardiac Module.
After completing his specialist training in Pediatrics and Neonatology in the UK in August 2002, he was appointed Consultant Neonatologist at University Hospital Lewisham, London, in September 2002. He was appointed Clinical Director of Neonatology in 2013, a position he held until his appointment at Sidra Medicine.
