Dr. Grasso is Senior Attending Physician and Assistant Professor, Clinical Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar.
As a Pediatric Anesthesiologist and Intensivist focusing on Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology, he takes pride in treating patients with complex congenital heart diseases.

He completed an Executive MBA in Healthcare and Life Sciences at the Rotman School of Management and graduated from the University of Milano Medical School Italy. He joined a fellowship program in Lung Biology, Pediatric Critical Care, and Pediatric Anesthesia at the Hospital for Sick Children in Canada.

He worked as a consultant Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist and Intensivist at Bambino Gesu Hospital and secured a consultant position as Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist and Intensivist at Giannina Gaslini Institute.

Dr. Grasso is the Anesthesia lead for Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), the director of the MEPA (managing emergencies in pediatric anesthesia) program, and core faculty in the fellowship program in Pediatric Anesthesia.
