Dr. Bajes completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from University of Jordan and obtained his Pediatrics Specialist training at Hamad General Hospital Pediatric Nephrology section. He holds a Diplomat of the Arab Board of Pediatrics certification.

Dr. Bajes moved from HMC to Sidra Medicine as Senior Consultant bringing with him over 30 years of clinical experience and expertise in various areas of Pediatric Nephrology. He is currently the Director of Spina Bifida MDT at Sidra Medicine.

Aside from his clinical works, Dr. Bajes is an APLS and PLS instructor at HMC and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medical College – Qatar.

Amongst his various committee membership were: Mortality and Morbidity Committee; Pediatrics Post Graduate Educational committee; Scientific Committee of the First Qatari International Pediatric Conference; Pediatric Track Scientific Committee, Qatar Health 2009. Dr. Bajes was also former Acting Pediatrics Department’s Representative at Supreme Council Committee for Treatment Abroad.
