Dr. Thoraya Al Maslamani finished her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from King Faisal University KSA in 1997, completed pediatric residency program training in 2002 at HMC and certified by Arab Board pediatric specialty program in 2002.

In 2003, Dr. Al Maslamani joined pediatric nephrology department at HMC working as specialist then she finished 2 years fellowship training in pediatric nephrology fellowship program at Hospital of Sick Children in Toronto, Canada.

From January 2007 to December 2008, Dr. Al Maslamani worked at HMC as Nephrology Consultant then as Senior Consultant from 2009 till 2017 when she moved to Sidra Medicine as Senior Attending – Nephrology.

Aside of clinical work, Dr. Al Maslamani worked as chief resident for pediatric department, and CPD officer for pediatric department and assistant chief for CPD for HMC.

Currently, Dr. Al Maslamani is the Program Director of Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship program.
