Dr. Syed Sayeed Ahmed joined Sidra Medicine as Attending Physician -Pediatric Emergency in February 2018. He has nearly twenty years of well-rounded pediatric clinical experience in the UK, India and the Middle East. Prior to joining Sidra Medicine, Dr. Ahmed was working as Consultant Pediatrician in the UK. His special interests include Acute & Ambulatory Pediatrics, Respiratory Pediatrics & Allergy.

Dr. Sayeed Ahmed also has MBA qualifications from a world leading B-school and has experience in managing healthcare assets internationally. He is formally trained in project management and quality improvement. He has international board level administrative experience in managing budgets, people and processes in healthcare settings. Dr. Sayeed Ahmed has led teams in commissioning and managing multispecialty hospitals, primary care clinics and retail pharmacies in India.

Dr. Sayeed Ahmed is Member of Royal College of Pediatrics & Child Health (UK); Diplomate National Board (India) and also holds Diploma Child Health from RCPS, Glasgow. He is an alumni of the Warwick Business School - UK, which is amongst the top-20 in the world. Dr Ahmed is enthusiastic in contributing to develop a high quality pediatric service and is a member of the Sidra ED quality team.
