  • About the Physician

    Dr. Sam Soltanifar qualified from the University of Oxford and University of London in 2002. He completed his initial anesthesia training in London, and higher specialist training in Oxford, culminating in Consultant post at the John Radcliffe Hospital. He moved to Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals where he held educational and leadership positions including Director of Simulation, Chair of Transfusion Committee and lead anesthetist for the bariatric service.
    He joined Sidra in 2017 and was appointed Assistant Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medicine Qatar in 2018.

    In 2021, he was appointed as Division Chief of General and Obstetric Anesthesiology.
