  • About the Physician

    Dr. Abdelgadir worked as a Pediatric Emergency Consultant at Al Wakrah Hospital before joining Sidra Medicine in 2017. After completing the MD training program in Sudan, she joined the UK Pediatric training, where she was awarded a Certificate of Completion of Training, a Fellowship of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health, and a Master's Degree in Pediatrics, UK. She joined the Weill Cornell Medical College-Qatar as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics.

    She is currently the chair of the Sidra Medicine guideline group and a member of the MOPH- National Clinical Guidelines & Pathways Committee (NCGPC).
    She is a strong advocate for Research, Education, and Evidence-Based Medicine Practice. She has several publications in peer-reviewed journals, including Cochrane Library. She is currently a trainer of evidence-based practice and systematic reviews. She is an Editor of both Archives Diseases of Childhood and BMC-Springer Nature.
