About Dr Franco Moscuzza qualified from Guy’s Hospital Medical School in 1988 and after initially starting his training in General Medicine switched to Anesthesia and developed subspecialty interests in Pediatric and Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia. He was appointed as a Consultant to Guy’& St Thomas’ Hospitals Trust in 1998. He held a number of educational and administrative posts including College Tutor, Pediatric Life Support Course Director, Clinical Lead for Theatres and Chair of the Surgical Safety Committee before being appointed Director of Anesthetics and Theatres.
In 2007 he completed an MA in Medical Ethics & Law, founded and Chaired the hospital Clinical Ethics Committee and was subsequently appointed onto the Board of Trustees of the UK Central Ethics Network. He joined Sidra in 2017 as a Senior Attending in Pediatric Anesthesia and has been the Chair of the Clinical Ethics Committee since inception.
