Physiotherapy
for Children and Young People
Physiotherapy (also known as Physical Therapy or PT) focuses on movement and improving function for those with disabilities, injury and illness, so that both the patient and family can experience a better quality of life.
Physical therapists are experts in muscles, joints, and how the body moves.
When a patient has suffered a serious injury or illness that limits their movement, a physical therapist can see what parts of the body can be trained to overcome the limitation. Because the specifics of each patient’s condition are unique, we customize PT based on each person’s individual needs.
