We offer specialist services for early pregnancy up to 16 weeks, including support for issues such as pain, bleeding, excessive morning sickness, loss of pregnancy symptoms, and previous ectopic pregnancy. Our multidisciplinary team conducts the necessary blood and urine tests, including genetic tests, infection and thrombophilia screening, and cervical length measurement. We also provide surgical management of miscarriages and laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery for ectopic pregnancies.

Our premium pregnancy service focuses on a luxury experience throughout the antenatal period, culminating in the use of our exclusive inpatient luxury suites located on Level 4D of the main hospital.

Our customized antenatal education classes are designed to prepare pregnant women, particularly first-time mothers, for labor and delivery. These interactive classes cover topics such as pain relief options, interventions during labor, and what to expect during delivery.

Our specialized service provides comprehensive care for pregnant women with medical conditions that could pose risks to them or their baby. Our Maternal Medicine team provides personalized assessments and management plans to ensure the best outcomes for both mother and baby.

Our holistic weight management service offers assessment, support, and treatment for weight-related issues during pregnancy. Our team of experts provides individualized treatment programs tailored to each client.

Sidra Medicine’s Obstetrics Triage clinic provides immediate critical care services for pregnancy emergencies, ensuring the safety of both mother and baby. Patients are directed to Obstetric Triage or Women’s Urgent Care based on the stage of pregnancy. Pregnancies under 20 weeks are managed at Women’s Urgent Care, while emergencies beyond 20 weeks are handled at Obstetric Triage.

Sidra Medicine is also proud to be one of the few private providers of obstetrics services in the GCC region to be awarded a Center of Excellence designation by the Society for Obstetric Anesthesiology and Perinatology (SOAP) for excellence in obstetric anesthesia care.

We offer optimal pain relief during labor and delivery through our labor epidural service, which is available 24/7 and administered by adult anesthesiologists.

Following delivery, mothers and babies are admitted to our state-of-the-art postpartum unit, where they receive comprehensive care from a multidisciplinary team, including midwives, nurses, obstetricians, and pediatric doctors. Our internal medicine and endocrinology specialists are also available for patients with additional medical needs. Physiotherapists support recovery by providing pelvic floor exercises, while our lactation consultants offer guidance on breastfeeding. Routine testing and assessments of the infant, including newborn metabolic screening, are performed during the stay.

We also offer in-house male baby circumcision services upon request, typically performed within the first few days of birth after clearance from pediatric doctors. Before discharge, mothers are offered a follow-up appointment in our outpatient clinic, typically scheduled 2-6 weeks after delivery.

All rooms in our maternity ward are private, designed with patient comfort in mind, and equipped with high-quality medical services. We offer three types of rooms:

• Standard Rooms: Located on Level 6D, featuring panoramic views of indoor healing gardens, computerized monitoring, a 3-seater couch that converts to a sofa bed, internet, smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom.
• Deluxe Rooms: Slightly larger than standard rooms, with additional features such as a kitchenette and a family living room (Majlis).
• Luxury Suites: Located on Level 4D, our luxury suites offer ensuite heated bathrooms, a lounge area with a pantry, guest bathrooms, and screens to view the baby nursery.
