This unit is staffed round-the-clock with dedicated staff who closely monitor patient’s vital signs. If anything unexpected should happen, our specially trained team is ready to perform emergency treatment. Patients are frequently admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) following major surgery, after sustaining serious injuries, or if they are at risk for a severe health complication.
Our intensive care services include the:
- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) – Any children who need round-the-clock monitoring are admitted here. This unit is equipped with advanced equipment that instantly alerts staff when a child’s condition changes.
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)– This unit provides 24/7 care for preterm and term neonatal babies born with life-threatening conditions, including respiratory, cardiac, renal, gastrointestinal, and neurological disease.
- Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) – We have sophisticated cardio-respiratory monitoring technology to monitor and support children with heart and lung disease. We are also equipped with the extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) system for children who require life support.
