The unit is located on the Plaza level of the main hospital in Tower D. It open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is staffed by our gynecology doctors and nurses.
On arrival, one of our triage nurses will take some information and perform some basic assessments. You will then be seen by a Doctor. As this is an emergency please be aware that you will be seen according to your clinical need not the time you arrive.
In-Office Procedures
We offer minimally invasive in-office procedures that provide greater privacy, require less time and lower costs. By performing these procedures in the comfort of our offices at the Outpatient Clinic, you will receive the warm, personalized care you deserve.
Office Hysteroscopy
A miniamlly invasive procedure that examines the inside of the urteus (womb). Alongside the conventional approach of having surgery while alseep, we also offer this in our outpatient clinic. The procedure is done by passing a thin telescope-like device, called a hysteroscope, that is fitted with a small camera through the neck of your womb (cervix). The physician doing the procedure can then see whether there are any problems inside your uterus that may need further investigation or treatment. The procedure takes around 15 minutes and most woman experience little pain.
Colposcopy
Colposcopy is done when results of cervical cancer screening tests show abnormal changes in the cells of the cervix. Colposcopy provides more information about the abnormal cells. Colposcopy is a way of looking at the cervix through a special magnifying device called a colposcope. This exam allows the physician to find problems that cannot be seen by the eye alone. The procedure takes around 15 minutes and most woman experience little discomfort.
