Neuro imaging provides valuable information on the brain and spinal system, allowing us to diagnose neurological conditions such as epilepsy, metabolic, and genetic disorders in early childhood. Neuro image tests are not painful, but your child will need to sit still for several minutes or hours. Many neurological conditions develop during childhood and adolescence. If your child has recently suffered an injury to the head, face, or back and has acted differently ever since, a doctor will probably recommend a neuro imaging test.
The following physical symptoms may indicate neurological damage or a neurological disorder:
- Frequent headaches or migraines
- Blurry vision
- Fatigue
- Difficulty concentrating in school
- Twitchy, erratic movements
- Aggressive behavior
