Mental Health Services for Children & Young People in Qatar

Thanks to many dedicated and hardworking scholars and researchers, the Division of Child and Adolescent Mental Health continues to produce studies and articles determined to uncover the multiple aspects of mental illnesses and to improve the quality of life of the Qatari population. In addition our faculty is invited frequently to do national and international presentations. Recently we joined Prestigious International Consortium of Enigma to advance research in Qatar. Qatar is the only country in the region to be part of this International Consortium.

Our research is focused on numerous aspects of child and adolescent mental health, including cultural, biological, developmental, and psychological perspectives, among others.
