Muhammad has over 15 years of experience in finance and business management across healthcare, energy, manufacturing, and education. Before joining Sidra Medicine, he served as Chief Operating Officer at the Population Health Research Institute, where he oversaw global research operations, core facilities, and the commercialization of research services. He holds an MBA, a Bachelor of Engineering, and is a certified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (CLSSBB).

Muhammad is the Executive Director of Research Core Services at Sidra Medicine, overseeing the Advanced Research Cores (genomics, omics, data science, imaging, flow cytometry and zebrafish), the Advanced Cell Therapy Core, and the Clinical Trials Office.
