Joined the faculty at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan/Wayne State University in 2001 as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and became the Director of Renal Transplantation Program form 2003-2006. Then joined the faculty of Akron Children’s Hospital in Ohio as an Associate Professor and the Division Chief of Nephrology & Hypertension from 2006-2009. Moved to the Middle East as the Head Section of Nephrology at King Fahad Medical City in the Kingdome of Saudi Arabia from 2009-2012.

Currently, the Head Section of Pediatric Nephrology at Hamad Medical Corporation and the Division Chief, Pediatric Nephrology and Hypertension at Sidra Medicine.

Published many articles in peer-reviewed journals in the fields of Pediatric Nephrology and Renal Transplantation. Contributed and authored book chapters including chapters in UpToDATE®. The recipient of many teaching, research and service awards from many institutions in the US and was on the Top Doctors in America List in 2009.
