For many years, Shayan was experiencing two to three seizures a day on account of being diagnosed with intractable epilepsy.

He received an extended personalized care program with our multidisciplinary Epilepsy Team. The input from neuroradiology, neurosurgery and allied health was crucial in the decision for Shayan to undergo a complex neurosurgery procedure.

Since the operation and thanks to the ongoing care from our team, the frequency and intensity of Shayan’s seizures have significantly gone down and he is also reducing his medication intake.
